Cargo Setup & First Flight

Cargo Setup

1) We first have to check if you have your last position stored in AirTool. This can be found on the main page, bottom right.

AirTool's Home Screen

If you don't have a location saved, it will show you number of seats plans we have in the workshop. Don't worry, this isn't a bad thing!

2) Navigate to the Your Office Tab

Your Office Tab

3) You will now see a new window open up with a list of resources and your current location (Only if it's already set)

4) We need to pick a resource. For this example, we're going to pick silicone, which is the first resource icon (See image below)

Your Office Tab

5) Now that we have selected the resource we want to transport, a new page will show up. This page shows where silicone is available. If you currently don't have your aircraft's location set, you can take off from any of these locations. Remember, what ever location you select, that will be your starting point. Make sure that you choose your starting location carefully. In this example, I am located at EDDF, Frankfurt Germany. So I am going to select EDDF as my departure. (See image below)

Cargo Overhaul Setup

This may look a bit daunting, but it's really simple once you know where everything is. So the first thing to do is select your departure which is glowing in RED. The list (Glowing RED) will show every airport that has silicone in its storage. You will also see a list of mines which produce silicone. You can click through them to see the amount (Glowing WHITE) that is available. If you choose a location which is not where you aircraft currently is, you are able to transport your aircraft to that location. However, it will take different amounts of time and money depending on the distance you want to transfer the aircraft. Ok, Almost done!

6) Now let's select the destination (YELLOW). The destinations are where silicone is required. Since we've selected silicone, these locations are most likely factories that require silicone to produce higher value items. For this flight we'll select EBBR as the destination. You can see that EBRR also has other cargo demands. The other demands which EBBR has are the green boxes inside the PURPLE glowy box. Once you are happy with the route, click the button below (Glowing GREEN). You will be taken to cargo flight setup.
