10) Once the download is completed open the downloaded XUIPCV2038.zip folder.
11) With the XUIPCV2038.zip open, copy the XUIPC folder into your X-Plane plugins folder which you can find at X-Plane ROOT/resources/plugins
Finding your internal IPv4 address
If you already know your local IPv4 address you can skip steps 12 - 14
12) Press WIN+R to open the Run window, and enter cmd
13) With the Command Prompt open, type in ipconfig and hit Enter
14) Look for the line which says IPv4 Address . . . . . . . . . . . xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Your IPv4 Address is the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx bit so take note of that, you'll need it for the next few steps.
15) Open the XUIPC.ini file inside the X-Plane ROOT/resources/plugins/XUIPC and look for the line which says Server Address = 10.0.0.2
16) Replace the 10.0.0.2 with your IPv4 Address which you found in step #14
Example
If your IPv4 Address is 192.168.209.99 then the line which says Server Address = 10.0.0.2 in the XUIPC.ini file should now look like Server Address = 192.168.209.99
Making Sure XUIPC Is Working Properly
In order to make sure that XUIPC is behaving itself and you set up XUIPC correctly run though the following steps:
1) Start X-Plane as you would normally and start a anywhere
2) Open the Plugins menu tab and navigate to XUIPC -> XUIPC -> XUIPC Verion and Info
3) A window will pop up displaying the XUIPC version as well as some other XUIPC info
4) The 3rd info item from the top should say Sending multicast from: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your IPv4 Address which you found in step #14
5) If the 3rd info item says it's Sending multicast from: the correct IPv4 Address then you've set up XUIPC perfectly and you're all set!
