You might be wondering why AirTool hasn't received updates in the last couple of years. I want to be honest with you about what happened.

Firstly, I faced some personal health issues that impacted my ability to continue development. On top of that, I lost the original AirTool code due to poor backup practices. While I eventually recovered a backup nearly two years later, the code was unfortunately beyond saving — completely broken and not maintainable.

While AirTool has always been free for everyone, the servers that power it are not. With limited resources and just a two-person team, we had to shift focus toward developing our premium project, flyLAT, which we hope will generate enough income to sustainably support all our platforms, including AirTool.

The good news? We're now working on AirTool Lite — a lightweight version focused on what you all loved the most: the announcements.

AirTool hit the limitations of the code it was built on. I originally wanted AirTool to be you companion whilst youre in the sky, although it still is and it's working well, I wanted a lot more. I wanted a virtual airline system that stands our from the rest. That's where flyLAT came from. LukeAirTool is in the name of flyLAT.

As AirTool was my first ever project, I still didn't have the skills to make it. Fast forward to today, we have developed an awesome project which is going to stand out from the rest of VA systems out there. Although it has a unique play it gives you the tools to be your sandbox.
